Regarding the History, the building was an orphanage managed single handled by the Canadian Sister Pauline Lagace who arrived to Lebanon in 1958. She spent her life transforming and developing a small house into a place to host and nurture children with difficulties.

After her death, the archbishopric of Sarba took over and rebuilt this place to a hotel welcoming tourists coming to visit Lebanon particularly the pilgrims tourists.

Pour l’histoire, cet hôtel était un orphelinat “Centre Eucharistique de charité”,  projet entièrement monté et géré par sœur Pauline Lagacé, d’origine Canadienne, qui par sa propre volonté et son enthousiasme, à partir d’une simple maison, a réalisé un orphelinat accueillant les enfants en situation précaire.

A sa mort, l’archevêché de Sarba, Monseigneur Guy Noujaim, a décidé de reconstruire les locaux et de le transformer en hôtel pour accueillir les touristes, les pèlerins nombreux à visiter
le Liban, ainsi que les clients réguliers.
